We have an open position for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team for Ocean Properties and the Opal Collection - a 26-property portfolio of luxury hotels.

Our Graphic Designer carries out all creative projects including collateral, HR materials, corporate and internal materials, and all other sales and marketing creative.

Our Graphic Designer position is full-time in-office (no remote work), and is a great next step for someone with at least 4 years experience working at an in-house or agency graphic design role.

Primary Responsibilities for our Graphic Designer include:

• Oversee creative needs for Opal Collection and 26 individual properties that make up the collection
• Work with Content Director on Opal Unpacked needs
• Work with sales, weddings and meetings team on projects and create needed graphic materials
• Work with HR on needed graphic materials
• Work with Opal standards team on ‘building a culture’ Opal community initiative
• Oversee and manage work being done with creative agencies on larger projects
• Consideration on all projects of how they can be scaled up and applied across the collection to ensure brand cohesion
• Maintain branding integrity and ensure consistency across all Opal Collection properties
• Ability to complete short term, high volume tasks that are less design-focused for important corporate initiatives, including RFPs and Capex plans

Detailed Duties for our Graphic Designer include:

• Weekly meetings with marketing team to update on all graphic design projects
• Work in a timely fashion to meet creative deadlines (discussed and reviewed on weekly meetings)
• Create graphics needed for email sends
• Create graphics needed for social media initiatives
• Cut and create new video content to share on websites, social media and digital marketing
• Keep websites up to date with new photography
• Assist on larger marketing initiatives as needed and directed by Director of Marketing and CRM Director
• Opal Standards project: create items needed for distribution internally and externally, create weekly internal newsletter for properties, work on recruiting materials, assist in creating PPT in specific approved template

Skills/Requirements for our Graphic Designer include:

• Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator
• 4+ years experience working in graphic design in-house/agency role
• Solid understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color, hierarchy)
• Photo and video editing skills, including vignette and reel-style videos for social media applications
• Email design familiarity/basic HTML knowledge a plus
• Stay up to date on design trends and share with team to keep materials looking up to date
• Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize short and long term projects
