SVS Group is currently looking to hire an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician for one of our best Clients here on the Phoenix/Tempe border.

~This will be a 3rd shift position.

You will have typical Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance type job duties to include:

• Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Requirements:

• You must have at least 4+ years of Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician Experience.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Overhead Crane Experience, Hydraulics, Large Conveyors, and pneumatic experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read ladder logic and electrical prints is a plus
• Knowledge of the NEC is a plus
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED
• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.
• You must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
• We are looking for people that work 2nd and/or 3rd shift. - 2nd Shift is Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm plus a lot of overtime during the week and on Saturday. 3rd Shift is Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am plus a lot of overtime during the week and on Saturday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
