Project Overview and Objectives
We are looking for an experienced influencer marketing manager to help us formally stand up and grow our influencer program with a focused goal of increasing leads and enrollments for our boot camp programs, including:

  • Grow the depth and breadth of our influencer network
  • Improve the performance of the channel to more leads and higher conversion rates
  • Enhance our campaign development capabilities to make the program more turnkey and scalable

Salary for this contractor role:
$5k per month
Hours: 20-30 per week
Time Zone: US overlap preferred
  • This is a part-time contractor role

About You

    • In this project, you will serve as a strategic thought partner and execution teammate working alongside our in-house marketing teams. The ideal partner will have:
    • 2-4 years of Influencer Marketing experience, with direct responsibility for strategy, execution, and reporting OR experience as a creator yourself, with inside knowledge that can help us build our program
    • Experience with influencer programs for high consideration, long lead cycle, high price point products
    • A proven track record in successfully delivering influencer marketing campaigns that bring in leads
    • The desire to roll up your sleeves, execute and create scalable processes within a growing company

Scope of Work

    • Over this 4 month, part-time engagement, you will develop an influencer strategy for Springboard and start executing against it, to learn, iterate and ultimately help us build playbooks to create a solid foundation upon which we can sustainably scale this channel to help grow our business. There are two key areas this project will focus on:

    • 1. Develop Springboard’s Influencer Strategy:
      Based on our business goals and budget, you will develop a strategy by analyzing our segments, our products, our brand and business insights, and our competition. This work will consider factors like:
    • Learnings from Current Influencer Program Performance, i.e., audit of existing Influencer Program, research, lists, etc.
    • Segment Priority, i.e., what audiences/products are best fit for influencer efforts
    • Channel Priority, i.e., what channels (Youtube, Tiktok, Twitter Newsletter, etc.) fit our segments
    • Target Influencer Profiles, i.e., what profile are we targeting on priority channels and how might we think about the role of different profiles - skills experts, career experts, former students, etc.
    • Campaign Types, i.e., what are our best “ways-in” to working with influencers -> guest posting, sponsored content, co-creation, competitions, discount codes
    • Partnership / Payment Models, i.e., development of influencer partnership/compensation offers - cash, discount/product, commission/affiliate, exposure on Springboard channels/platform, etc.

    • With the strategy in place, you will move on to execution…
      2. Create Springboard’s Influencer Outreach, Onboarding, and Campaign Programming:
      Create the playbook and use it to activate influencers to join our network and reach their audiences with our offerings. Success here is in your ability to find, attract and secure creator/influencer marketing opportunities, which can yield measurable results for Springboard in terms of lead generation. This work will include items like:
    • Research + List Building: Create a prioritized list of targets based on criteria in strategy.
    • Outreach Material Development + Pitching: Develop materials for outreach (email scripts, decks, partnership packages) and use them to sign new influencers
    • Onboarding Packet + Onboarding: Develop a smooth onboarding process and create style guidelines upfront to ensure each influencer understands our expectations
    • Campaign Development: Partner cross-functionally with brand marketing, digital, and, sales to align on product information such a key messaging, launch dates, and inventory & interact and collaborate with our influencers to help with ideation, planning, and campaign development by working side-by-side with our teams and
    • Content Amplification: Partner with Springboard’s content, media, and channel manager teams to recommend distribution and amplification strategies that support business priorities
