Information Center Technician (Customer Service/Clerical, part-time) Job at Westmoreland County Community College
Westmoreland County Community College is looking for qualified candidates for a regular part-time Information Center Technician position for the Youngwood campus. This position is responsible to provide high level customer service, clerical support and assistance within the Information Center.
The pay rate for this position is $17.40/hour. This is a part-time position (up to 19 hours/week) and hours will vary Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional weekend hours as needed.

Essential Functions:
- Assist and provide accurate information to stakeholders, current students, and prospective students in front-line call center services regarding enrollment, registration, College services, and Information Center requests.
- Research information needed to answer student/stakeholder issues.
- Identify and escalate priority issues and refer to other College resources as necessary.
- Update records and generate reports as needed.
- Refer to and collaborate with other departments across the College as needed.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree in a related field
- Two years of work-related and customer service experience
- Call center experience preferred
Successful candidate will be required to obtain/provide the following clearances prior to hire:
- PA Child History clearance
- PA Criminal Record Check clearance
- FBI Federal Criminal History Record
