Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Research and qualify prospective bid opportunities for the sale of the company’s products utilizing on-line construction bidding software or other available resources
  • Act as the project coordinator for all assigned projects. This includes being the primary point of contact for all logistical support as well as working with the outside sales team and product manufacturers to meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Engage in daily coordination between vendors, customers, and co-workers on the details of equipment selection, quotations, engineering submittals, ordering process, and shipments.
  • Review and interpret commercial construction drawings, plans, and specifications for creation of equipment proposals.
  • Review customer purchase order contracts and all other documents as they relate to corporate policies and work with the customer or supervisor to resolve any conflicts.
  • Maintain minimum corporate margins on sale of specific product lines and report any variances to immediate supervisor for approval.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma / GED but Associates degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service and Technical Support in the Commercial HVAC or similar industry.

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON:

  • No Supervisory requirements
  • Ensure company policies are followed
  • Enforce company safety policies

Annual Salary range: $62,400 - $83,200

Actual compensation within the range is dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
