Salary Range

Dependent upon qualifications

$40,609.01 - $56,852.61

Position Summary

This position performs behavioral health insurance verification, billing, and accounts receivable procedures; monitors and maintains documentation regarding payer reimbursement regulations and procedures; and communicates with clients and staff regarding insurance, billing, and collection matters.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School graduation with two years insurance experience,

OR

• Post-secondary education equivalent
• Training in office practices, commercial subjects and billing, collections and accounts receivable functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
• Three years billing, insurance verification, reimbursement and collections experience in a mental health organization
• Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and basic Word applications required and Electronic Health Record systems and billing knowledge
