Interim Accounting Director Job at Clinical Management Consultants
An established health system located in northern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Interim Hospital Accounting Director to join their accredited healthcare team.
This organization provides access to world-class acute care services to a population of roughly 14,000 people. The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.
Reporting to the CFO, the Interim Hospital Accounting Director will oversee all financial functions for the system including general ledger, fixed assets, payroll, and accounts payable. The Interim Hospital Accounting Director will ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards, establish and maintain accounting standards, direct financial transactions, lead annual tax reporting, and prepare all things necessary for the Financial committee. This is a 13-week interim opportunity with the ability to extend the assignment given personal or organizational needs.
Requirements Include:
- Graduate in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting
- Extensive experience in Financial Accounting, 5+ years
- Progressive leadership experience
- Expert knowledge of financial reporting and guidelines
