Job Summary:
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. Documents and monitors workflow development and functional requirements. Performs project management capacities for implementation planning. Supports testing and validation activities. Supports OFC Interoperability and TIO Interoperability collaboration. Solution integration support across Community Data Integration and Interoperability.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience minimum, 8 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Must possess knowledge of appropriate data sources to address the specific requirements of projects for monitoring, characterization, analysis and modeling
- Can perform scientific research, scientific writing and editing, including the writing, and editing of project products to established government standards for the targeted science and lay audiences, proofreading of draft and final documents
- Can works independently
- Able to attend meetings and workshops to present on project work, participate in discussions
- Master’s degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering or related scientific, technical or clinical discipline
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the VA
- Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
- Experience with interoperability and health information exchange
- Hands on experience with Cerner EHR
