Overview:

Salary range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually, plus potential for bonus.


The Investment Management Associate, Transactions works as key team member within the Investment Management team maintaining project information, asset contacts, resource documentation, and serving as a communication bridge between Investment Management and the support teams across the organization. This individual also oversees all transactional aspects of the real estate lifecycle to achieve a successful outcome for each real estate transaction in accordance with Holland Partner Group’s Core Values. This person has limited decision-making capacity and works under indirect supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize the execution of development closings, acquisitions and dispositions with internal leadership across all business units and outside legal counsel to ensure all critical documents are executed timely and accurately.
  • Ensure that pre- and post-closing financing, related documentation, and compliance requirements are executed and on schedule.
  • Coordinate all due diligence and closing activities, including interfacing, coordinating, and collaborating with Buyers, Sellers, Brokers, Lenders, and Title Officers to ensure smooth closing
  • Maintain a list of and regularly coordinate with the primary points of contact for all title and escrow processes, including preliminary title review and closing statement approval
  • Gather and organize the due diligence materials for each real estate transaction from construction through closing.
  • Assist the Investment Management team in the review of all offering materials for each transaction.
  • Review and approve prorations received from the Investment Management team for closings.
  • Manage contractual obligations from the Purchase and Sale Agreements to guarantee legal obligations are met both during and after the required timeframe.
  • Initiate request for wire transfers for real estate transactions in coordination with corporate leadership and external partners.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage transaction training for all business units.
  • Drive process improvements and make recommendations where enhancements are necessary.
  • Build and maintain project and data organization structure for Investment Management team.
  • Participate in regular updates with senior management and other key stakeholders and departments.
  • Manage internal and external communication for all asset transactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of files, materials and correspondence.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all staff to ensure excellent inside customer service.
  • Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications:
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.

Experience
: Minimum five years’ experience in a fast-paced transaction-oriented environment required; preferably in one or more of the following industries: Escrow, Paralegal, Real Estate, Lending, or Loan Processing. Legal contract review experience and/or real estate finance experience strongly preferred.

Attendance : This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.

This position also requires:
  • Travel and overnight stays.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
