Objective / Accountability:
To meet the sales forecasts of Irma’s Garden products through targeted regional chain and independent stores while supporting and promoting the overall value and professionalism of the company. Successfully work with the various internal departments of the company and all other entities involved. Achieve personal and professional goals while being a respected team member.
Function / Corresponding Tasks:
Prospecting
- Continually produce, use, and update sales lead generation plan
- Generate leads from cold calling businesses and establishing relationships
- Generate leads from existing customers, networking, and trade shows
Lead Follow up
- Initiate callbacks to maximize peak interest
- Establish appointments to meet with prospects on a timely basis to determine needs and earn a commitment
Sales
- Plan sales activities efficiently and report results weekly
- Build long-term relationships with customers and prospects through regular sales visits and effective communication
- Meet or exceed yearly sales goals
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage customer concerns resulting in equitable outcomes
- Participate in professional industry associations to promote Irma’s Garden products
Pricing and Quoting
- Provide prompt pricing to customers on products and services as trained and directed
Customer Care
- ·At all times, maintain a professional image and manner
- Promptly respond to all customer needs
Marketing
- Gather customer feedback and identify needs through meeting with customers, trade shows, etc.
- Gather information on trends in the market including future products and packaging opportunities
- Give feedback to Sales Manager and Marketing department as directed
- Work with Marketing ensuring all sales literature are current and reflective of customer needs
- As requested, be part of website development
Determine and achieve individual goals for personal growth while supporting the department, company, and industry
- Set individual goals that support your growth aligned with department and company goals
- Participate in company meetings and events as appropriate
- Maintain involvement in growth activities to continually enhance job skills and knowledge
Ground Transportaion
- Follow company policies regarding usage of company vehicles
- Personal vehicles the company re-imburses through mileage expenses shall meet all legal requirements and be maintained for a safe, clean professional appearance

Minimum HS diploma

Professional training will be provided to successful candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
