Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Systems Administration, virtualization, and networking, as well as a deep understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and RESTful API's. With a focus on delivering reliable and efficient IT services, the IT Operations Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration of Windows Server and Linux platforms.
• Maintenance and support of Microsoft SQL Server or general RDBMS experience.
• Knowledge of Claris FileMaker Pro a plug
• Management and monitoring of backups and Network Attached Storage using TrueNAS.
• Virtualization management and maintenance.
• Network troubleshooting and support using Ubiquiti products.
• Printer installation and troubleshooting.
• Advanced Excel experience including VLOOKUPS, INDEX/MATCH, and PIVOT TABLES.
• Experience with Claris Filemaker is a plus.
• Analyze company departments to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and come up with solutions to optimize processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred, but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations and administration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research and resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of RESTful API's and networking protocols.
• Experience with TrueNAS, Ubiquiti, Microsoft SQL Server, and virtualization technologies.
• Computer programming knowledge a plus
