IT Professional - Beverage Industry Job at Louis Glunz Beer, Inc.
Louis Glunz Beer, Inc is a 133 year old Beverage Distributor that operates in the Chicago area (7100 Capitol Drive, Lincolnwood, IL 60048). We are looking for a competent IT professional who can succeed with managing the multiple platforms our business utilizes to manage our company. This person needs to be capable of understanding and managing multiple software applications.
Our company utilizes cloud based programs developed and managed by Vermont Information Processing (VIP) to run our day to day business processes. Our successful candidate for this position doesn't need current experience with this platform, however must be willing and capable of learning this technology and programs in the near future.
In addition to VIP Platform, our staff interfaces with our systems utilizing:
- Approximately 40 PC’s
- 50 IPads
- 20 Driver IPads (Being phased in)
- 20 IPad invoice Printers (Being phased in)
- 21 (Older Driver PDA and Printers) Being phased out
- 20 Plus Cellular Devices
In addition to the enterprise system above our IT manager oversees
- Phone System with 30 handsets
- Electronic door access system for two buildings
- Video Camera System and 41 Cameras
- 3 Copiers and , 5 printers
Network responsibility currently:
- 4 Physical Windows Servers, 2 Virtual Servers: File, Domain Controller, Citrix, Kanteck Security, 1 IBM business system server (archival data only)
- Network Switches, Modem, router, 6 wireless access points, wireless bridge
We also have service contracts that need to be managed, which include:
- Voice/Data
- Cellular
- Copiers
- VIP Beverage Business Systems
- Network Security, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam software
- Citrix
- Domain registration and web hosting
As the IT expert for Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. you will also provide software support for:
· Mobile order Entry Software and Hardware) (VIP)
· Driver Deliver Software and Hardware (VIP)
· VIP Beverage System Management System
· Edgar (Electronic Document Gathering And Reporting)
· OS Apps and Software, Windows apps and software, to include Outlook
· Antivirus, Antispam and Citrix
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
