Division Description

Cosma Castings Michigan (CCMI)- a division of Magna International- is located in Battle Creek, Michigan. We are a casting and assembly facility that manufactures automotive body components for GM, Ford, FCA, Honda, and other aftermarket customers. We operate a 300,000-square-foot facility with approximately 500 employees. Summary of Responsibilities

Performs installations and configurations of computer systems. Sets up and administers user accounts. Performs technical support and troubleshooting to computer users within the facility.


Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide support on Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Microsoft Outlook and CAD (Solidworks, ePDM, Spinfire, Autocad, etc.) systems
  • Administer help desk activities between the vendor’s helpdesk and end-users at the division
  • Perform administrative duties on all divisional servers and PC’s
  • Maintain enterprise systems backups for all business critical data systems.
  • Maintain and continually develop Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity and topology, emphasizing dependability, speed, and fault tolerance between divisions, Cosma/Magna corporate offices and resources, and to our customers.
  • Sustain development of remote access/control systems environments, allowing for efficient management of many systems by fewer and off-site personnel
  • Plan and oversee upgrades on hardware and software systems as required
  • Support EDI systems including connections to customers and vendors.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Computer Science/Engineering 4-year degree or comparable experience
  • Minimum 4 years of computer experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Microsoft Windows XP/7/10, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019, Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Strong networking experience/background including routers, switches, VLAN management, WiFi, etc.
  • CMS or ERP experience a plus
  • You must pass a urine drug screen, background check, and physical capability examination.
