DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helpdesk - assist employees with day-to-day computer hardware and software issues.
  • Assist employees with data/voice communications issues. Troubleshoot network problems; provide technical support for network and related systems.
  • Assist in managing the data and voice networks within the organization.
  • Install and maintain network hardware and software including workstation operating systems and applications.
  • Relocate workstations, reimage workstations, install new software, install updates to software, etc.
  • Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of the organization’s infrastructure.
  • Train employees on the proper use of computers, software, and phone system usage.
  • Maintain computer, network, and related equipment inventories.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:

  • Associate’s Degree in an IT related field and a minimum of 1 year related experience. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize diverse responsibilities.
  • Troubleshooting techniques, including ability to solve complex hardware or software problems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows 7 and newer and Microsoft Office 2010 and newer.
  • In addition to the basic expectations for all personnel, the business unit staff will practice positive guest relations and carry out those administrative functions that enable the clinical unit to meet its performance goals.
  • Employees will be screened for tuberculosis prior to initiation of duties. Annual screening thereafter will occur only if there has been known exposure or evidence of ongoing tuberculosis transmission.
  • Must be able to work in a cooperative manner with co-workers, supervisors, and other staff in the company.
  • Performs other related duties as required. (Related duties as required are duties which may not be specifically listed in the duties and responsibilities description, but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.)
  • Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Must work the days and hours necessary to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Must be available (especially during regular business hours or shifts) to communicate with supervisors, clients, vendors and any other person or organization with whom interaction is required to accomplish work and project goals.
  • Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards, work deadlines, and beginning and ending assignments on time.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in writing computer programming/stored procedures/triggers.
  • Experience in Hyper-V environments, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Remote Desktop Services.
  • Working knowledge of common business practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
