The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, a local non-profit supporting individuals with disabilities is seeking a Part Time IT Network Technician to support our administrative team and our various remote locations. This is a part-time position, approximately 5 hours per day to start. Please note, this is NOT a remote position. The successful candidate will need to physically report to an office or various community sites.

A successful candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as in a team-orientated, collaborative environment

Schedule: 10-2pm Monday-Friday

Pay: From $19.40 per hour, Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule, Overtime Availability

Our IT Tech will support our IT Director by:

• Maintaining an upgrading network hardware, software, firewalls, PCs and network applications
• Troubleshoot day to day issues at various remote locations, including issues with accessibility, network connection, printing/scanning problems
• Create and monitor system IDs, permissions and various accounts
• Assisting in routine maintenance, assembling, installing, testing and supporting PC hardware, software printers, mobile devices and related technology
• Troubleshoot and administer, and maintain all email accounts and remote access issues
• Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems
• Assisting in set up, breakdown or transfer of workstations based upon staff relocations or additional resource needs

Requirements

Basic job requirements of this position are:

• A minimum of 1 year experience working in a domain environment and with remote computer networks
• A minimum of 1 year working in a professional, office setting
• CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network+ certification
• Solid understanding of network hardware and software, installation and troubleshooting
• Excellent customer service skills, including patience and understanding others
• Valid NJ Driver’s License with no more than 5 points
• All employees are required to be fully vaccinated and up to date with vaccine status.
