POSITION SUMMARY:
The TEAL IT Technician diagnoses, repairs and maintains hardware and software components. The Technician installs and configures computer hardware and provides IT support for the company’s clients, routinely interacting with various departments and levels. Through listening to technical needs, IT solutions are implemented with the highest level of customer service.

The TEAL IT Technician diagnoses, repairs and maintains hardware and software components. The Technician installs and configures computer hardware and provides IT support for the company’s clients, routinely interacting with various departments and levels. Through listening to technical needs, IT solutions are implemented with the highest level of customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and configure hardware and software components
- Repair or replace damaged hardware
- Upgrade systems firmware with provided tools
- Work with technicians remotely
- Travel to client sites
- Perform tests on new hardware and software
- Basic network troubleshooting (Router issues, modem malfunctions etc.)
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures
- Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made
- Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in computer science/Computer Information Systems or engineering or related field, preferred.
- A+ Certification a plus!
- Understanding of low voltage (DC / AC) systems.
- Basic mechanical knowledge (how electrical motors work, sensors etc.)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT technician.
- Minimum of 1 year of help desk experience.
- Experience troubleshooting PCs, phones, routers, modems etc.
- Proficient with Windows, Android, and IOS
- Willing to travel to client sites

- PTO Allotment of 120 hours / 3 weeks after 90 days of employment
