Job Description:

The role of the IT Technician is to provide support to the internal customer base. This includes localized support in the “home” office as well as support of all remote locations. This position offers the opportunity to be based out of Country Club Hills, IL or Elizabeth, NJ.

In addition to technical tier-1 support this person will also serve as a data coordinator. Generating a database of items with comprehensive descriptions and data attributes that can be subsequently used to feed website data; catalogs; product sheets; etc.

Responsibilities:

• Setup, administer, and maintain computers and peripheral devices
• Monitor computer systems and address/report issues or potential threats
• Log, update, monitor inbound support desk tickets
• Monitor and track system availability
• Manage company issued cellular devices
• Identify hardware / software needs and submit appropriate requisitions and justification for review
• Collect and record/manage data pertaining to product lines
• Assist users in reporting / data analysis

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, specifically Excel
• Basic networking knowledge (e.g. TCP/IP)
• Hardware troubleshooting / problem diagnosis
• Windows Operating System 10; 11 (future iterations as released)
• Ability to clearly communicate with users (i.e. don’t tech talk above them)
