OSU Physicians focuses on entire patient experience, from the minute they call in for an appointment, to being welcomed in the office, and then receiving quality, compassionate, thorough care from our physicians and the entire OSU Physicians, Inc., team.

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of IT (or his/her delegate), and in collaboration with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC), will provide consultation in the planning, design, development, and delivery of training for EPIC or other electronic medical record and systems; identify mechanisms to optimize system utilization and processes; assists in the review of workflows and processes; and provide training to staff and physicians.

What are we looking for in our next new hire?

  • Bachelor of Science in a clinical field, information systems or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with an electronic medical record or system.
  • Possess strong communication skills to respond to common and complex inquiries.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and completion of projects, self-motivation and ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Extensive knowledge of adult learning principles, and demonstrated experience using these principles when building training plans and materials.
  • Critical thinking to be able to work at the highest technical level of most phases of application education while being able to consider current and future state implications.
