Electronics Manufacturing Company in Beverly has an immediate need for an experienced Janitor that will perform various duties related to the maintenance of the building inside and outside.

Responsibilities of the Janitor:

¨ The Janitor will perform various custodial duties inside and outside

¨ Maintain quality of work.

¨ Perform & Maintain daily, a preventative maintenance program & documentation

¨ The Custodian/Janitor will maintain neat, clean, organized and safe work areas.

¨ Ownership of basic tools to perform job.

¨ Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with or without accommodations.

¨ Independent Monitoring of Weather Conditions are essential especially during months where snow & ice, melting & refreezing are possible.

¨ Must carry and maintain a company issued cell phone to help aid in good communication with management & or Supervisor.

¨ Other duties as required by the manager or delegate.

¨ Perform various cleaning duties related to offices, manufacturing areas, hallways, restrooms, outside grounds and other areas to the established methods and procedures including lean manufacturing concepts according to manager or delegate’s instructions.

¨ Wear required personal protective equipment – safety footwear and goggles when in specified areas.

¨ Other duties as required by the lead person, manager or delegate.

Candidates must have some plumbing and basic electrical experience and should be able to:

Change light bulbs

Clean lavatories

Clean lunch room

Dust

Maintain cleaning supplies

Maintain paper products for lavatories

Pick up and empty recycling bins and trash

Sweep

Vacuum

Wash designated walls

Wash, wax and buff designated floors

Wash windows

Snow Removal
