Junior Analyst
Key Duties:
- Monitor and track property performance including weekly report, monthly financial reports, etc. and provide summary reporting/conclusions to Asset Manager
- Participate in annual budget process
- Perform site visits to potential acquisitions
- Participate in due diligence process on new acquisitions
- Assist in underwriting of new acquisitions
- Review and analyze historical property data to form benchmarking, projections and modeling of acquisitions
- Conduct real estate market research, providing highlights to Asset Manager and maintaining data base of rental and sales comps in various relevant markets
- Review market data for acquisition opportunities and relevant data
- Build property performance models to assist in review of operational accomplishments
- Assist in data gathering for acquisition and disposition of assets
- Monitor and track renovation budgets and spending
- Track income/rent growth vs. projections in acquisition models
Skills Needed:
- Proficient with Microsoft programs, specifically thorough and advanced knowledge of excel
- Analytical and logical thought processes and strong quantitative skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to analyze data and report that data intelligently and succinctly
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- Ability to work alone and with teams
- Ability to travel
