Position Title: Junior Rough Carpenter - Scottsdale, AZ

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time, no weekends.

Salary: $15 - $18 / hr

Job Description: We are seeking a Junior Rough Carpenter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting senior carpenters in various construction projects and ensuring that the work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work on residential and commercial projects, perform rough framing, install doors and windows, and complete other tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take direction from senior carpenters in all aspects of rough framing, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials. Quickly demonstrate the ability
  • Install doors and windows according to manufacturer specifications and building codes
  • Help construct and install wooden structures such as walls, roof systems, and decks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of debris
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in rough carpentry or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation to drive yourself to job sites
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
  • Provide your own bag and tools (full list below)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy materials
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
