Key Account Executive

Join our growing team at our 50-acre state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located on the Ridgeville Industrial Campus in Ridgeville, SC.

Sundaram-Clayton USA, LLC, is a leading supplier of aluminum cast products to global automotive equipment manufacturers (OEM’s). Our Ridgeville facility manufactures aluminum high-pressure, die-cast products and permanent mold gravity cast parts. Sundaram-Clayton USA, LLC is a part of the multi-billion dollar TVS Group, one of the largest automotive and automotive components manufacturing and distribution groups in India.

Purpose

• Assisting the key account manager in customer relationship management
• Assisting in achievement of daily production, sales and dispatch plan
• Supporting in managing receivables/collections

Role Description

• Escalating the customer issues to other cross functional team members and ensuring timely closure
• Preparing daily requirement plan and communicate to factory
• Reporting daily customer production, sales and delivery adherence
• Tracking and reporting any abnormalities (schedules, Quality etc.)
• Updating pipeline (ramp-up and ramp-down)
• Preparing delivery details of shipment for discussion with logistics team
• Establish contact with customer touch points and build rapport
• Visiting, as necessary, to customer stores, Quality, Purchase
• Maintaining Price for parts in SAP
• Following up for collection of payments
• Manage daily schedule adherence
• Promptly respond to customers
• SAP reconciliation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in auto / auto component product companies in sales / marketing function (Preferred)
• Previous experience with and working knowledge of customer sales, customer market share, creating and retaining high customer satisfaction, creating new business, RFQ lead time, and new product plan adherence
• Greenbelt problem solving
• TS 16949 awareness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Negotiation skills and sales planning
• Product awareness and commercial acumen
• Knowledge of export regulations and procedures
• High customer focus
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
