A typical day may look like this:

  • Assist with inventory control and replenishment of tooling
  • Wax dip tools for kits
  • Audit returned kits
  • Build new kits according to usage and min max levels
  • Adjust returned tools back into appropriate system if reusable
  • Collect dull tools from kits for return for regrind
  • Set up tooling assemblies for production using set-up sheets and tooling drawings
  • Communicate with machine operators to determine tooling needed for upcoming projects
  • Assist with tool crib duties as needed
  • Communicate needs of machine operators with buyers and/or supervisor
  • Notify supervisor of notable spikes in usage
  • Other duties as assigned
  • 60% Standing, Bending, Reaching, Kneeling
  • 20% Walking
  • 10% Sitting
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
