Label Inventory Coordinator - 1st Shift Labeling Job at Seneca Foods

Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.
The Labeling Department has an opening for a Label Inventory Coordinator,
a grade 4 position on First shift.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Must pay attention to detail and be familiar with Seneca coding for brite items
- Must be familiar with GEM and SAP inventory, scheduling, and order systems
- Must be familiar with customer label UPC codes
- Must be able build and update Excel Spreadsheets, Word documents, or PDF files
- Must be able to operate or learn to operate the Gem inventory system from desktop PC or handheld scanner
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs consistently to stack labels in Inventory racks or deliver to label lines
- Must be forklift certified
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Individual will be responsible for the following:
- Receive, manage, and distribute Label Inventory
- Communicate with Customer Service on label needs or issues
- Responsible for shipping label transfers to other locations
- Correspondence with Corporate Customer Service with order issues
- Deliver needed labels to label lines according to schedule with Forklift
- Work with Warehouse Manager on disposing of obsolete label inventories
- Weekly cycle counting of label inventory to insure accuracy
