Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition.
• You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
• You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
• You will participate in performance improvement activities.
• You will acts as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
• Current license to practice as a registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• NRP required.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. current certification must be obtained within 3 months of Hire/Transfer.
• AWHONN Fetal monitoring validation within 6 months of hire if previously certified. If newly certified, required within first 18 months.
• Minimum of 1 year recent labor and delivery nursing experience in a comparable unit.
• Proficiency in surgical suite nursing procedures and skills strongly preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
