Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will manage day-to-day laboratory technical and non-technical resources and operations to meet regulatory and organizational requirements
• You will maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies, leads audits to help maintain compliance, and assure completion of proficiency testing/ assist in the development of training programs, assess and report result of PI monitors
• You will assist the Director in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum: (4) four year Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or similar laboratory science discipline
• Minimum: (6) six years as a Technologist and Nevada Licensure as a General Supervisor
• Preferred: Master’s degree in clinical lab science, business, hospital administration or public administration
• Required: ASCP or equivalent certification
• At minimum, six years experience in laboratory supervisor/ manager functions in a large clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory
• Licensure by the State of Nevada as a General Supervisor
