Responsibilities:
The Laboratory Information System Analyst is responsible for the internal coordination of the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Must have good working knowledge of software and hardware utilized in larger Laboratory computer systems. Will work with IT to build, revise, and update LIS files. Responsible for Lab Report Writing and managing work queues. Responsible for LIS related accreditation standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Education and Work Experience:
    • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
    • Must possess a degree in: A.S. in Medical Laboratory Technology or a B.S in Medical Laboratory Science or meets the qualifications for Medical Technologist
    • Minimum of 3 years of Clinical Laboratory experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of computer experience
  • Certification Requirements:
    • ASCP Certification or equivalent preferred.
