Overview
As a Lab Supervisor at CHI LakeWood Health in Baudette, Minnesota, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the laboratory for our 15-bed critical access hospital. You will contribute to the development of annual goals, objectives and departmental budget while actively facilitating the achievement of the goals and objectives and the ongoing evaluation of results.

Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Medical Laboratory Director, manages the Quality Assurance Program for the department.
- Develops and maintains a service orientation in performing duties with fellow employees, patients, medical staff and visitors.
- Has operational responsibility for the clinical/technical aspects of a section of the laboratory.
- Performs job duties of Medical Technologist; performing a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school.- Current certification as one of the following: Med Tech (Medical Tech), Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Medical Lab Technologist (MLT).
- Certification by ASCP or NCA.
- Two (2) years laboratory experience.
- One (1) year of blood bank experience.
Preferred:
- Five (5) years of laboratory experience.
- Phlebotomy experience.
