Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technician - Evenings - Full Time

Here you’ll perform high complexity testing procedures required to provide diagnoses for our patients. Conduct both manual assays and automated tests. Determine preliminary diagnosis for review by laboratory leadership. Verify test results against accepted quality control standards; maintain quality assurance and quality control standards as set by the hospital and laboratory.
This is an Evening shift position working 4:00 pm - 12:00 am including alternate weekends and rotating holidays. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
Preferred Criteria
- Certification as a technician by NCA or ASMT
Required Criteria
- AAS in Clinical Laboratory, AAS in Medical Technology or a related Health Science
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License
- One year training in a clinical laboratory
