JOB OPENING
Landscape Architect
EDA Land Planning is a Landscape Architectural firm with a broad spectrum of project experience. Many of our projects include cemetery planning and design, but also include master planned communities, institutional, parks, streetscapes, and commercial projects.
EDA is seeking an individual that is self-motivated, creative, has strong technical skills, interested in the design process from concept through construction documentation. The individual should have strong communication skills, be detail oriented, dependable, and enthusiastic about the profession. Work will be performed in the office, not remote.
Qualifications:
- Entry level to 8 years’ experience in a Landscape Architecture office
- Bachelor or master’s degree in landscape architecture preferred or equivalent degree/experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD, LandFX, IrrigationFX, Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop and SketchUp.
Job Description:
- Assist in the development of grading plans, construction layout and dimensioning plans, irrigation plans, planting plans, construction details
- Assist in the development of construction document packages
- Assist in the design process
- Assist in cost estimates
- Agency Processing (permit applications and approval process)
Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience.
