We’re currently seeking a Landscape Area Manager to add to the Down to Earth Team. This role will challenge you to use your knowledge of horticulture and landscaping to build and grow new and current customer accounts. You will focus on client retention and customer service while simultaneously gaining referrals and growing the business. As a Landscape Area Manager, you will manage landscape crews to deliver high-quality work, safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Responsibilities:

· Manage all landscape services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work

· Selling enhancements to new and existing clients

· Identify staffing needs, hire new crew members, and prepare daily crew schedules

· Training crew supervisors to follow company policies regarding employee and fleet safety

· Overall production, safety, quality control, completion of assigned and self-written work orders

· Initiate weekly client communication, property walks and enhancement sales opportunities

· Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client standards

· Inspect properties prior to scheduled service to prepare specific action plan for service

· Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries

· Review and approve payroll hours and enter them in ADP for payroll processing

· During winter months, managing a portfolio of snow work. This includes client communication, snow plowing, staging equipment, and billing work timely.

Skills, and Abilities:

• Customer service, sales, and management experience are a must
• Effective communicator with customers and throughout all levels of the company
• Ability to prioritize job duties in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of all facets of landscape management including irrigation programming, plant ID, and plant care
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & landscape software(preferred)

Experience:

· 4+ years landscape management experience.

· Prefer a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business, Business, Horticulture, Ag Science, Landscape Maintenance, Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture, or other Green Industry degree

· Valid Driver’s License
