Landscape Laborer Job at M. ERBS Fine gardens
M. ERBS Fine gardens is a well-established landscape design and build firm specializing in high-end residential landscapes. Our creative team of designers, office staff, and gardeners construct and maintain a wide variety of properties throughout Northern New Jersey.
We are seeking passionate and hands-on crew members to join our garden installation and maintenance team.
Work includes maintaining the gardens and properties of our existing client base with weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visits. Plant seasonal flowers, shrubs, and bulbs, weed, water, hand prune, mulch, rake leaves, etc. We report daily to our yard in Boonton at 8:00 AM. Reliable transportation to and from the yard is A MUST.
The ideal candidate would have:
- A positive attitude
- Ability to work long hours in a variaty of weather conditions
- A reliable, responsible, self-motivated personality
- Good communication skills – English a plus, bilingual even better
- Ethical and caring values
- Ability to take direction from senior employees and work as a team
- Skills in weeding, shrub/tree/flower care, mulching, organic fertilization – can be taught to the proper candidate
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Experience in the landscape industry is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right individual. Driver’s license is not necessary, but if you do have one, it should come with a clean driving record. Pay and position would be determined by experience and knowledge.
