The Landscape Maintenance worker will perform grounds keeping duties in assigned areas.

Flexible scheduling options for both Full Time & Part Time Days - NO WEEKENDS * 7am - 3:30pm with flexibility!

As a Landscape Maintenance worker, supporting the Garden Spot Communities' mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Performs equipment maintenance, adjustments, and repairs to include: sharpening mower blades, oil changes, cleaning, belt changes, etc.
• Mows all turf areas.
• Plants trees, shrubs, flowers, bulbs, and seeds turf.
• Spray herbicides and pesticides on turf and bed areas under direct supervision of the supervisor.
• Trims walkways and mulches beds.
• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Assists with snow removal.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What do I need for this role with Garden Spot?

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Familiarity with and the ability to operate all grounds equipment.
• Possesses basic mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance.
• Assists with special events or functions that are held on the campus.
• Exercises good judgement, works independently, follows directions well, and cooperates well with others.
• Must be available on an on-call basis through the winter season for snow and ice removal responsibilities.
• Must be willing to work in extreme hot or cold seasonal weather.
