As a Landscaper at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, you will provide a clean and beautiful ambience to our park by maintaining all landscaping areas in accordance to Six Flags quality standards. HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
- Performs general landscape maintenance duties; plants, fertilizers, irrigates, hand waters weeds, prunes, and rotates, as needed, all plants, annuals, perennial, shrubs, etc., according to specific requirements; inspects for insects and plant diseases; calls for pest control services as needed; installs and repairs irrigation systems; fertilizes lawns; installs and repairs brick on sand install landscape timbers and planters; installs drains, both PVC pipes and picks up trash and disposes; fills and rakes gravel areas, cleans out gutters; rakes leaves; assists in lawn care edging and weed-eating; removes rock and spreads soil as needed.
- Drives tractor, front-end loader, and forklift as needed for hauling equipment and materials; operates Bobcat for grading small areas and riding mowers to mow lawns to perform special lawn care duties; operates High Ranger for pruning and placement; uses hand-held equipment, fertilizers, etc.
- Maintains equipment daily; checks fluid levels and makes repairs as needed.
- Maintains ornamental plants; pruning, fertilizing, leaf cleaning, watering, and rotating according to plant requirements.
- Assists in mowing as needed.
- Assists in greenhouse operation as needed; monitors temperature and fan controls.
- Assists in Pest Control as needed.
- Provides plants and ornamentals for special events.
- Assists in cleaning out all water areas.
- Operates a broad variety of tools and equipment to include motor vehicles.
- Other duties assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Able to stand, stoop, bend, lift and walk for an extended amount of time
- Ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain)
- Able to communicate effectively, including reading, writing and speaking
- Landscaping experience preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 30+ hours per week.

- May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole
- Reports to the Maintenance Department Leadership
