Laundry Mechanic Job at North East Linen Supply
North East Linen Supply is a major supplier of linen and uniform rental services to better restaurants and dining facilities. Over the last few years, the company has grown organically and through acquisition and has further growth opportunities in all of its current markets. North East Linen Supply is looking for an experienced Laundry Mechanic.
The qualified candidate will receive a very competitive compensation package and must possess the following skills:
- Ability to repair, modify, and rebuild, all laundry systems equipment.
- Must be proficient in troubleshooting electrical, electronic and pneumatic controls, rebuild pumps, valves, regulators, and have an excellent understanding of steam and/or thermal oil systems.
- Repairs and maintains tunnel washer, driers, ironers, boiler, extractors, presses, and other laundry equipment.
- Repairs, maintains and services equipment, laundry machinery and facilities such as lights, heat, air conditioning and power.
- Operates and maintains boilers to provide utilities as necessary for laundry operations. Installs, maintains and repairs elements of electrical systems and devices.
- Performs routine maintenance in all areas of responsibility; provides preventative maintenance to ensure equipment, fixtures, and laundry facilities are maintained in proper condition.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in an automated production environment.
- Technical training in electronics, plumbing, welding, electricity, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
