Summary

The Lead Associate, Integrated Campaigns and Experiential Marketing will work under direction from the Senior Advisor, Integrated Marketing to plan and execute marketing campaigns for Save the Children to help advance marketing objectives and impact goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts (Creative, Communications, Digital Marketing and Fundraising) to deliver consistent messaging in all marketing touchpoints that creates a measurable impact on brand metrics. You will also be responsible for activating around cultural and calendar moments to create engagement opportunities for current and potential supporters. You will oversee campaign execution including experiential/events management and be responsible for measurement and analyzing results of brand marketing initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Integrated Campaign Management (50%)

  • Work with the Lead Advisor to research, identify and recommend offline and online marketing concepts that build familiarity for Save the Children in core areas of impact: Conflict, Education and Hunger. Develop tactical plans, timelines and annual / seasonal/ integrated calendar moments to advance mission impact and brand preference.
  • Manage implementation, execution, and measurement for brand campaigns. Collaborate with internal teams and agencies/ vendors to create, implement and ensure brand content is delivered and aligns with overall marketing strategies across owned, paid, and earned channels.

Experiential and Event Marketing (25%)

  • Identify opportunities to tell the brand story through experiential marketing. This includes working with other Divisions (Save the Children Action Network, Corporate Partnerships, Workplace Giving and Employee Engagement) to maximize brand exposure through owned events, industry conferences and summits, etc.
  • Manage on-the ground execution of Save the Children brand experience at key events including but not limited to National tours, event/industry conferences and forums and partner events.

Campaign Reporting and Measurement (25%)

  • Document campaign performance to report on effectiveness, opportunities and lessons learned. Work with analysts and cross functional teams to develop and deliver performance reports, insights and recommendations for actions or revisions to brand marketing campaigns.
  • Implements tests and learns. Partners across departments and business units to build, track, and optimize brand campaigns.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handle numerous projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a team player and building relationships
  • Results driven professional with proven track record of driving success
  • Experience managing external vendors/partners
  • Demonstrated experience working independently to solve problems and make decisions

Compensation

Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

  • Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $66,300 – $74,100 base salary
  • Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $60,350 – $67,450 base salary
  • Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $54,400 – $60,800 base salary

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location. Employee may be eligible for an incentive program. Save the Children also offers paid vacation, accrued at least 12 days a year, depending on paygrade and length of service, paid safety and wellness leave of at least 1 day per month worked for a full time employee which is pro rata reduced for employees working less than a full time schedule, and at least 10 paid holidays a year. Employees may be eligible for additional bonus compensation.
