Summary:A Powderbird Lead Chef is responsible for the planning, preparation, cooking and presentation of daily meals to Powderbird guests. They aimfor consistent guest satisfaction by serving gourmet food and world class hospitality. This individual directly oversees all food and beverageproduction while delegating to a chef assistant accordingly. Additionally, they monitor inventory and purchasing of all meal products andsupplies. Is well versed in the making of a variety of food types, willing to adapt & cater to specific requests and able to consistently deliverhigh quality meals each day. Following food safety and sanitation guidelines is a must. Position is seasonal and full time.
Requirements:
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for up to 12 hours
- Ability to negotiate stairs
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Must be able to hear normal conversations in a busy, crowded environment
- Vision must be within normal range to work safely and to read written information
- Must have the dexterity to use all equipment and utensils normally associated with this position
