Art Coast Properties is the Art Coast's premier Vacation Rental Management Company. We manage vacation rentals from South Haven to Holland and provide our guests with unparalleled service. About the Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Lead Housekeeper to join our team. A motivated individual who has interest in this industry and is eager to learn more about the business. If you have not had management experience before, that is ok, we are willing to train the right person for the job so long as you are ready to learn! There are many facets to this business and many opportunities for you to make a difference in our brand. We want to foster your talents and help you thrive in whatever capacity you choose.

Responsibilities will include coordinating with management to achieve seamless service and ensuring every guest has a positive experience through the cleanliness and staging of our homes. There will be hands on training with a member of management to ensure you have all the knowledge to complete your tasks efficiently. All supplies will be provided. This is a fast paced environment in which your schedule may change as market demands. We are looking for someone who is flexible and can shift with the demands of the industry.

Typical hours will be from 10am-3:30pm and the days of the week may differ from week to week. As the position starts to develop and the business continues to grow, your hours will also increase. Currently you could expect to work a minimum of 30hrs/week.

Responsibilities:

  • Thorough cleaning of our Vacation Rental Homes
  • Manage and train housekeeping staff
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, guest amenities, and bed/bath linens at each property
  • Work with management to build processes to ensure efficiency and success
  • Conduct performance reviews with members of the Hospitality team
  • Oversee and partake in the deep cleanings of each new home that is brought on
  • Staging of items after guest departure
  • Re-stocking the home with guest amenities
  • Be able to drive to various properties from South Haven to Holland
