Lead Specialist - New Product Development of Food Services Job at Sunoco
Summary
Sunoco LP is seeking a Lead Specialist of New Product Development to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This position leads the day-to-day management and expansion of Sunoco’s proprietary food service program. This role will also support the development of new programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Increase the number of sites that have Sunoco’s proprietary food service program.
- Own end-to-end product distribution process including managing product suppliers, wholesale grocery distributors and supply chain logistics.
- Oversee and manage new site activations including equipment procurement, site surveys and installation.
- Communicate program information, provide updates, and troubleshoot issues with vendors, store management, site owners and Sunoco account managers.
- Actively manage and collaborate with external vendors to ensure performance.
- Onboard new vendors including product suppliers and wholesale grocery distributors.
- Partner with the marketing team to maintain up-to-date sales, onboarding, operations, and marketing materials.
- Conduct regular program reporting; analyze sales and consumer trends and glean insights to enhance program performance.
- Create and maintain program project plans and detailed customer records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience managing external vendors
- Strong project management skills
- Self-starter who excels in ambiguous and challenging problems
- Detail-oriented, driven problem solver and strong facilitator
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
