About the Role: Our Integrated Talent Management Team is looking for a Leadership Development Specialist to join the team. The Leadership Development Specialist will be responsible for working across Gore’s diverse businesses. In this role, you will lead with strong consultation and design skills grounded in adult learning principles and be hands-on in the entire process of designing, delivering, and evaluating leadership development programs (virtual and live, self-paced/online etc.) for the United States, Europe and Asia. This individual must work within commuting distance of one of Gore’s clusters of plants in the U.S. (Newark, Delaware/Elkton, Maryland/Phoenix, Arizona/Flagstaff, Arizona). A hybrid work arrangement could be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize leadership development needs by working directly with the Enterprise Talent Development team and Divisional HR Business Partners
  • Design, deliver and measure the effectiveness of integrated leadership development solutions
  • Leverage current and emerging learning technologies to respond to multiple stakeholder needs
  • Create scalable training curricula (aligned to our competencies) and processes to support achievement of performance and growth objectives
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to propose, source and/or design learning solutions to close performance gaps or support emerging requirements
  • Manage the delivery of world-class learning journeys for audiences globally
  • Work with Talent Development coordinators to maintain SharePoint/MS Teams sites to provide easy access to learning assets
  • Collaborate with Global Integrated Talent Management Team members to align leadership development deliverables to divisional priorities and maximize individual and Enterprise development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Adult Learning, Leadership, Organizational Psychology or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership development experience with adult learning in an Integrated Talent Management environment, to include a combination of strong instructional design, superior delivery and group facilitation skills in a corporate setting
  • Experience working on global teams and embracing cultural differences while meeting targeted learning needs
  • Experience in assessing, selecting and applying current and emerging digital and virtual technologies to meet development needs
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate multiple time zones
  • Strong internal consulting and project and change management skills, including conducting needs assessment, diagnosing, contracting, planning, implementing, and measuring results
  • Proven ability to implement a strategic talent plan that drives measurable business results
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams around common goals and objectives
  • Ability to travel 15% of time, both domestically and internationally

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Adult Learning, Leadership, Organizational Psychology or related field
  • People leadership, coaching and mentoring experience
