Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Learning & Development Advisor to partner with the Consulting business primarily in Americas to identify learning and development needs. The successful candidate will be able to design, implement, and evaluate solutions to address those needs.

Key aims and objectives:
  • Perform comprehensive learning needs analysis
  • Design and facilitate consistent delivery of development programs addressing the needs
  • Evaluate the impact of development programs on business results
  • Share advice and guidance about potential career paths and support employees in linking their career aspirations with appropriate learning & development solutions
Prime responsibilities and duties:
  • Be a role model in adhering to highest Health and Safety standards of the company.
  • Ensure learning needs of Consulting Business in Americas are identified and captured in Capability Development Plan for the Business Unit.
  • Design and facilitate consistent delivery of development programs in line with Capability Development Plan. Identify and source relevant internal and external support as necessary.
  • Design and facilitate team development sessions.
  • Share advice and guidance with groups or individual employees about potential career paths and support employees in linking their career aspirations with appropriate learning & development solutions
  • Support the delivery of global leadership and professional development programs.
  • Evaluate the impact of development programs on business results and ensure the outcomes of evaluation are used for continuous improvement of learning & development solutions offered to the business
  • Support L&D VP in facilitating Talent and Succession Enablement processes in the business
  • Promote Performance Management culture in the business and act as a Performance champion
  • Support Early Careers advisor in implementing development programmes for Early Careers personnel (graduates, interns, apprentices)
Skills / Qualifications:
Experience / Qualifications / Training

Essential:
  • 8 years experience in a similar role in a global organisation
  • Bachelor's degree in humanities or social sciences
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
Desired:
  • Qualification in L&D and / or Coaching (CIPD, CPTD, ACC)
  • Accreditation in Insights Discovery (or other relevant Psychometric assessments) is a plus
  • Experience working in multiple locations across Americas
  • Experience in dealing with Engineering & Technical experts
