JOB POSTING: Leasing Agent

K&N Property Management is seeking a responsible person with the following qualifications:

Job Type: 1 part-time position (15-30 hours per week) is available.

Compensation: $15.00/hour

Experience:

  • Property management experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)

Work Location:

  • Ocean Shores, Hoquiam, Aberdeen, Chehalis (all Washington State)
  • Hours: Flexibly

Your Role: You will do on-site tours for various apartment buildings with prospective tenants. You will do tasks such as posting notices, mailing notices, screening applicants etc.

What You'll Do:

  • Engage with applicants in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Set up tours to show applicants various apartment buildings around WA.
  • Screen applicants.
  • Work with K&N management on documentation and internal record keeping.

This Job Is Ideal For Someone Who Is:

  • Dependable -- K&N will rely on you and your opinion to screen prospective applicants.
  • Detail oriented -- must be able to follow directions and track various tasks while staying organized.
  • Friendly -- you will be the first person applicants meet. Your job is to sell applicants on our apartments and screen applicants to make sure we get the best tenants.
  • Independent -- work will be done from home or on the road traveling to apartments; you’ll need to be able to self-motivate.

Essential Functions:

  • Respond to applicant inquiries promptly, patiently and in a clear, friendly, and thoughtful manner.
  • Track the state of applications, tours, screening process in spreadsheets.
  • Document applicant information within our internal database.
  • Collaborate with management to stay updated on services, policies, and tenant relationships.
  • Work with management to assess and improve all processes.

Qualifications:

  • Property management or leasing experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working individually in a structured environment.
  • Comfortable working with multiple web apps to enter, pull, and assess applicant information as well as communicate to tenants via phone calls, email, and SMS.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
