Donovan Hatem LLP has an opening for a Senior Billing Coordinator. This hand-on individual will be responsible for the management/preparation of complex client billing and e-billing. Duties include uploading invoices, executing complex bills, including multiparty billing, preparing appeals, entering timekeeper information, and preparing budgets. Other duties include processing billing from start to finish, ensuring that client guidelines are followed, participating in collections efforts, working closely with clients and attorneys to resolve any issues, and assisting on special projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (with an emphasis on Excel)
- Knowledge of SurePoint (formerly Rippe & Kingston) desired
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and/or problems simultaneously
- Ability to execute complex bills in a timely manner
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with attorneys and clients
- Able to work well in a demanding and fast paced environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred or the equivalent combination of education and professional experience in a law firm.
- 3-5 years of billing experience in a law firm
- Experience with law firm e-billing processes and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
