We Require

High School Diploma or GED
-
Two years of experience performing specialized clerical duties which include transcription or secretarial experience
-
Post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value

Experience working in the legal field with legal terminology

Experience in Start/Stop Universal Software
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
Job Contributions

Listens to recorded witness interviews and transcribes into written documents
-
Reviews documents for completeness and typographical and format errors
-
Communicates with attorneys and legal staff to process transcription requests in a timely manner
Working Conditions

Work transpires in a typical office setting.

Regular exposure to traumatic subject matter (crime scenes, accidents, etc.),

May work in close physical proximity with others, public contact and criminal defendants may be frequent occurrences
