ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Provides excellent internal and external customer service- Responsible for shelving materials
- May process passport applications
- Performing page opening/closing duties
- Creating and maintaining displays to highlight the collection
- Training incoming staff as needed
- Participating in staff meetings
- Participating in outreach to the community
8th grade education or higher. Must be at least 16 years old.
PREFERENCES: The successful candidate will have…
- The ability to accurately file, both alphabetically and numerically using Dewey Decimal System
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Scheduling flexibility
- Knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, WebEx, OneDrive and Teams
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: This position may require travel during business hours. The library conducts DMV record checks for all licensed employees.
ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $17.55
