The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Program Manager to supervise mental health workers and interns and reports directly to the Clinical Supervisor Director. This individual may work in more than one program and is primarily responsible for providing clinical supervision, facilitating case conferences, and overseeing the clinical needs and co-occurring services provided at the program(s). Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally competent, client-centered services, including mental health assessments, psychoeducational groups, treatment planning, referrals to specialty services, crisis intervention, and other co-occurring services as needed. Diagnose substance use disorders and substance-induced disorders according to all Title 22 Drug Medi-Cal requirements and relevant regulations.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Must comply with the State Public Health Officer Order mandating all health care workers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Must possess and maintain a current valid California license as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, licensed psychologist, or physician who is certified in psychiatry for a minimum of two years; a minimum of six hours of supervision training or coursework in each renewal period while providing supervision; and compliance with all BBS requirements for supervision. Previous experience will demonstrate proven success implementing and overseeing evidence-based interventions for co-occurring conditions; meeting the varied treatment and recovery needs of clients in a multi-cultural, trauma-informed, and client-centered environment; supervising clinical service delivery of interns and trainees; and working closely with an integrated treatment team to ensure services are delivered according to all contract requirements and regulations (i.e., Title 22). Must be able to pass a drug test, background clearance, and provide a negative TB test. Must be free of probation or parole for at least one year. Must have a clean driving record, with a minimum of two year’s driving experience. Skills include strong paperwork and computer skills, the ability to maintain-up-to-date records, exceptional written and verbal communication, ability to work in a team, excellent time management skills, and organizational abilities. Must comply with all agency and contract requirements related to trainings, public health, certifications, reporting, etc. Bilingual proficiency preferred.
