At Fairview Haven, we understand that, in order to properly care for our residents, our staff members need to have sufficient time and resources available to give high quality care. You will be working with another nurse at all times so the staffing ratios are excellent, approximately 25 residents per nurse. Essential Job Functions

· Observe and document resident condition changes and notify physician and family members of these changes.

· Complete scheduled treatments including skin, respiratory, sensory, and wound treatments.

· Perform routine medication passes according to the MAR for each resident of Fairview Haven and Estates

· Perform charting on all residents of Fairview Haven and Estates as required including, but not limited to: daily vital signs, weekly blood pressure, physician visits, new orders, resident information, lab reports, medications, and change in condition.

· Assist clinical care coordinator with admission of new residents to Fairview Haven and Estates

· Investigate and document events, such as falls and bruises.

· Additional Duties as assigned.

· Effective communication with physician, family members, lab, pharmacy, and co-workers

Requirements

· Must be licensed in the state of Illinois to practice nursing (either LPN or RN).

· Must have current CPR certification'

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
