PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYOR (PLS)

$50-$55 per hour dependent upon qualifications and experience

James A. Sewell and Associates, LLC is currently recruiting for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to support our Sandpoint, Idaho and Newport, Washington locations.

JAS is an established Structural/Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm with offices in Newport and Spokane, Washington and Sandpoint, Idaho. JAS has been providing quality services in Eastern Washington and North Idaho for over 100 years. We pride ourselves on client satisfaction, which is realized through providing a quality product combined with cost efficiency. The size of our firm allows us to develop close relationships with our clients, while providing expertise and dedication to every project.

JAS provides civil and structural engineering, land surveying, land use planning, building inspection, construction inspection and materials testing for all types of projects. Our professionals work on a broad range of projects.

The candidate shall be comfortable working with clients and team members on diverse land surveying projects, including but not limited to:  Site Plans;  Topographic surveys;  Record of Surveys;  Plats;  Minor Subdivisions;  Floodplain Elevation Certificates;  Process Field Points;  Construction Staking.

JAS offers competitive wages and full benefits. Wage is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Desired qualifications include:  Professional Land Surveyor License required ;  Four year Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying field preferred ;  Two years of recent AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting experience preferred ;  Experience with Robotic and GPS equipment preferred ;  Survey field crew experience preferred ;  Strong communication skills required;  Attention to detail required;  Interest in learning and growing;  Ability to work as part of a team.
