Seth Klein with A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse/LVN in Flower Mound,TX. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be working in a fast paced clinical environment. The This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Compensation

• The pay for this position is $22.00- $28.00/hr D.O.E
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Responsibilities for LVN/ Licensed Vocational Nurse:

The Licensed Practical Nurse, under general supervision, provides general nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Maintains efficient patient flow, assists with patient care, i.e. vitals, assessments and procedures. Maintains physicians schedule and performs miscellaneous tasks assigned by physicians.

The essential duties and responsibilities:

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
• Records patient data prior to each physician visit, including but not limited to, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Performs other administrative duties, i.e., scheduling, chart preparation, reception, etc., as requested by supervisor or physician.

Requirements for LVN/ Licensed Vocational Nurse:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited school for practical nursing.
• Requires a minimum of five years experience as a practical nurse in a hospital or clinic setting.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification required.
