Lifeguard (Seasonal Temporary)- Soft Maple Campground
Duties and Requirements:
Under supervision, this role consists of Lifeguarding at a small campground beachfront.
Job duties include:
· The Supervision of swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within safety protocols;
· Spotting hazards or potential hazards and taking corrective action to prevent accidents;
· Performing rescue in the event of swimming accidents;
· Performing first aid and CPR in adverse situations.
Other duties may also include being responsible for cleanliness of restroom facilities, issuing camping permits, and monitoring the entrance/exit of the campground.
All lifeguards must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid NYS driver’s license, and possess valid NYS certification for Lifeguarding, Waterfront Skills/First Aid/CPR/AED.

- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Croghan, NY 13327: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certifications (Required)
